Buyout Bots

One-time build and handover: differences from the managed model, benefits, limits, and later changes.

01

What is a buyout?

A buyout is a one-time commissioned build followed by handover of the agreed project. Operation, maintenance, and later changes are not automatically included as a monthly service.

02

Visibility in the customer portal

Buyout bots are not shown as manageable live bots in the bot dashboard. Invoices, project information, or support history may still be available in the customer portal.

i

The bot dashboard is intended for private managed bots running on Xeno Development systems.

03

Maintenance and later changes

After handover, new features, technical changes, or maintenance can be commissioned separately. Before implementation, we review effort, compatibility, and feasibility.

04

Managed or buyout?

  • Managed: monthly service, hosting, and ongoing support depending on package
  • Buyout: one-time handover and more customer responsibility
  • Managed: approved controls in the customer portal
  • Buyout: no live management as a managed bot
05

Benefits and trade-offs

A buyout provides more control after handover and no automatically included monthly bot management. In return, the customer assumes more responsibility for operation, updates, security, and backups.
